THE FLORENTINES ARE BACK!

After five years of being out of production, the Florentine Cutaways are back. The design of the Larrivée Florentine extends back into our early history. In the 1970s, Jean was experimenting with small-bodied steel string guitars and built a guitar integrating a Florentine cutaway. The result was the first C-body Florentine, a new classical cross-over body shape, the first of which was built for renowned singer/songwriter Bruce Cockburn. At the time, steel-string cutaways were extremely rare. The Florentine developed as a result of Jean's background in classical guitar building.
Today, the Florentine Jean built for Bruce is on display at the Vancouver International Airport at the international departure zone.
The Florentines are available in two different trim levels: C-09 and C-10.
